Quran-A Gift from Allah for The Believers
Quran is the biggest of Allah’s countless blessings for mankind. It is the ultimate source of guidance for us. It is the most perfect, flawless and divine book ever witnessed as it is the word of Allah. Nobody can bring a book like the Holy Quran or replicate it. It is an open challenge from Allah to those who question its divinity. Apart from being the perfect guide for mankind, the Holy Quran is a miraculous book whose recitation leads to great benefits for the readers. Some of the Surahs have great importance and reverence leading to incredible benefits for the readers. One such surah is Surah Yasin.
Surah Yasin-The Heart of Holy Quran
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: –
“Surely everything has a heart, and the heart of the Quran is Yaseen. I would love that it be in the heart of every person of my people.”
Surah Yasin is one of the holiest and most revered Surahs of the Holy Quran. It holds great significance in the eyes of Allah. Muslims all over the world recite Yasin Surah with great respect and fondness. They strive to memorize it as there are great rewards and benefits for reciting Yasin Surah. According to a hadith: –
“Whoever recites Yaseen once, Allah will record the reward of reciting the Quran ten times.”
Benefits of Surah Yasin
Surah Yasin helps in the expiation of sins. It is evident from many ahadith that when a Muslim recites this Surah especially at night with sincere intention to repent on his sins, Allah forgives him. When you recite Surah Yasin before sleeping to attain Allah’s pleasure, Allah rewards immensely and removes the sins. The holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: –
“Whoever recites Surah Yaseen at night seeking the pleasure of Allah, that night he will be forgiven.”
Everyone faces difficulties and trials in their lifetime. When you are faced with such a situation ‘seek help from Surah Yaseen’. If you begin your day with the recitation of this Surah after offering Fajr prayers, Allah will protect you all day long from evil forces. He will fulfill your needs from sources you would not have even imagined of.
Marriages are often coupled with obstacles and problems. It is a very difficult and fragile, yet extremely important relationship. Surah Yasin is extremely beneficial for alleviating problems arising in marital life.
Source of Forgiveness
The eminent and noble rank Allah has given to Surah Yasin can be gauged by the hadith in which the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gives the glad tiding to the believers of a Surah that will intercede and serve as a source of forgiveness for the believers at a time when they will be in dire need of it, that is on the Day of Judgment. Not only that it intercedes for the person reciting it, but also the one who listens to it shall benefit from Surah Yaseen.
This is the reason why when a Muslim is on his death bed it is highly recommended that someone recites Surah Yasin to him so that his matters are eased after death. Moreover, when a person is dying and his soul is being separated from the body, he feels a lot of discomfort, anguish and anxiety. Surah Yasin helps in easing the difficult process of death.
